We begin by picking the stories that we are going to video.
Then we teach the stories, explaining every detail.
Many times we have to go back to the Bible for clarification so that we make sure that linguistically we are correct in our signs.

Discussing the best way to sign the story
Bible Story
Then it´s time to begin filming the Bible stories. It´s not as easy as it seems. We have many retakes because it does not come out the way we want.
As you can see we first started out with just my houselights, until someone donated some new, much brighter ones.
We have to make sure that the signs are clear and understandable, and also that even though the grammar is different, we still follow the Bible.

Bible Translation in Salvadoran Sign Language (LESSA)
We´re also making a sign language dictionary to accompany the DVD Video of the Bible Stories. So we take a picture of the sign.
Then change the photo using Photoshop into a drawing,
Then discuss if the sign is correct or if there needs to be changes and then put the sign into a format for making the dictionary.
